Celebrate the Question Sunday

This Sunday we took some intentional time to celebrate the question. We live in a culture that is so obsessed with the answer that we don’t take into account that we don’t have all the answers and that’s ok. This Sunday was a time for us to ask questions because of the freedom we have through our faith in Christ.

Incineration: week 9

Incineration week 8: “Connect the Dots”

During week 8 of our current sermon series we heard that God is intimately involved in everyone’s life and God desires to connect the dots in our lives as God does with Peter and Cornelius. We learned that when we connect the dots and “incineration” moment occurs.

Incineration: week 6 “Headed south for the summer”

We looked at Acts 8:26-38 where Phillip encounters the ethiopian eunuch. I think this message will help you to see how easy it is to connect someone to the transforming love of Jesus.

Week four of series, “Incineration”. This week we looked at the story from Acts where the greek speaking widows were not getting fed and the sacrificial change that tooks place. We were challenged to embody this sacrficial change in our own lives.

In week 2 of our current sermon series Pastor Chad taught about transformation through the life of Peter. We were challenged to allow Jesus to sit on the “stool” of our lives that we might live this transformed life.

Resurrection 2009: “Shouts from the empty tomb”

On Resurrection Sunday we saw that Jesus shouts out our names from the empty tomb and when we hear our name and respond it opens our lives up to a brand new reality based upon the truth found in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“Let me out of here” week 1

This is the first week of a new series, “Let me out of here!” We looking through the lens of Mark 1 to see how Jesus is screaming the same yell to our culture to let Him out of the religious box and get back on the throne. This week we looked at how “repenting and believing” is that tool that frees Jesus from the box and puts Him back on the throne of our lives and the church.
